The old Romanesco realizes something is missing from his collection. He journeys through the deepest recesses of his memory to find it.
The film Puzzle reunites us with the melancholic figure from Cantor Dust Man, Sebastien Loghman’s prior film.

"A.L. : En seulement six minutes et quatre plans, Cantor Dust Man est un film dense ….
S.L. : Et léger ! C’est le secret du fractal. Une forme complexe dans laquelle on entre finalement assez facilement. Et puis il y a une forme d’humour par l’étrangeté ! Mais en effet, dense, car il s’agit d’exploiter tout l’espace du film, qu’il soit visuel ou sonore, intérieur ou extérieur. Le rythme est aussi très important, il se compose de respirations, de montées d’intensités, de ruptures… Je voulais faire un film très organique, dynamique et plein comme un corps.

SYNOPSIS : A man encounters a long forgotten smell and is carried away by the memories this brings flooding back. The smell arouses in him an overwhelming sense of the plurality of his being, leading him back into the mysterious depths of his past, pushing back the limits of his inner world.
Cantor Dust Man is a knowing mix of American ‘musical’, avant-garde digital explorations and aesthetic melancholy, inviting us into a colourful world of poetry where music and words take pride of place.
